The original work, al-Shamā’il al-Kubrā, was authored in Urdu by Mufti Muḥammad Irshād Qāsmī. This English translation has been prepared by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ḥāfiẓ Ḥusayn Kolia, a student of Mawlānā Faḍl al-Raḥmān Aʿẓamī (Former Shaykh al-Ḥadīth of Dār al-ʿUlūm Azaadville).
