How an order works

Adding books to your basket and sending a request does not complete a sale or take payment. We check availability and postage, then send you the confirmed total and payment arrangements. A sale is agreed when you accept those details with us. Until then you can choose not to proceed.

Books from future shipments are reservations until stock arrives. We will tell you when they are available and confirm the next steps. If a title becomes unavailable or there is an obvious pricing error, we will explain before agreeing the sale.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Postage is additional and confirmed before you agree to buy. All payments are arranged and made separately, outside this website, by bank transfer or agreed cash payment. We do not take card details on the site.

Books and delivery

All listed books are new; we do not stock second-hand books. The books remain ours until paid for in full. Delivery and collection arrangements are explained on our delivery page.

Returns

Our returns and cancellations policy explains change-of-mind returns, faults and refunds and forms part of these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing here removes any consumer protections that apply to your purchase.
