Seeratul Mustafa [Abridged Edition]

This thick volume is an abridged edition of Seeratul Mustafa. The original work extends across three substantial volumes, and it has been concisely adapted into a single book by the Jamiatul Ulama (KZN) Ta‘limi Board to make it more accessible for students and the general reader. The abridgement focuses primarily on the blessed life of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, omitting lengthy academic discussions while preserving the essence, beauty, and authenticity of the original work.

Seeratul Mustafa is regarded by many as the finest of Mawlānā Idrīs Kāndeẖlawī’s literary contributions. Mawlānā Idrīs Kāndeẖlawī completed his studies at Mazāhir al-ʿUlūm (Saharanpur) and Dār al-ʿUlūm Deoband. Among his esteemed teachers were giants such as Mawlānā Khalīl Aḥmad Sahāranpūrī, ʿAllāmah Shabbīr Aḥmad ʿUthmānī, and ʿAllāmah Anwar Shāh Kashmīrī. Distinguished as a scholar of ḥadīth and tafsīr, a poet, and an ascetic, he dedicated his life to the pursuit and teaching of the sacred sciences. He authored numerous important works in tafsīr, ḥadīth, and Islamic theology.
