About this edition

Mirqāt al-Mafātīḥ Sharḥ Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ (مرقاة المفاتيح شرح مشكاة المصابيح)

Mirqāt al-Mafātīḥ is one of the most renowned and comprehensive commentaries on Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ, the celebrated ḥadīth compilation of Imām al-Tabrīzī. Authored by the eminent Ḥanafī scholar Mullā ʿAlī al-Qārī, this monumental work offers an extensive explanation of the Aḥādīth, drawing upon the Qurʾān, the principles of ḥadīth, Arabic linguistics, Fiqh, and the explanations of earlier Ulama. It is particularly valuable for students of ḥadīth and advanced students of ʿIlm, providing detailed discussions of the meanings of narrations, their legal implications, and the differences of opinion among the Ulama.

This excellent-quality reprint by Zakariyyah Book Depot reproduces the renowned Dār al-Kutub al-ʿIlmiyyah (DKI) edition in 12 volumes, making this important classical reference accessible in a high-quality set. An essential addition to the library of students of ḥadīth, Ulama, and serious students of Islamic knowledge.
