Arbau Rasail fi Ulum al Hadith

Arbaʿ Rasāʾil fī ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth is a valuable collection of four specialised treatises on the sciences of Ḥadīth, compiled from the works of leading scholars including Tājj al-Dīn al-Subkī, al-Sakhāwī and Imām al-Dhahabī. The collection addresses important aspects of al-Jarḥ wa al-Taʿdīl and the evaluation of narrators and historians, including principles governing criticism and accreditation and whose statements may be relied upon in narrator criticism. Carefully edited and annotated by the renowned Ḥadīth scholar Shaykh ʿAbd al-Fattāḥ Abū Ghuddah, it is a particularly useful resource for students and scholars of ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth.
