An Introduction to Mishkat al-Masabih

Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ is a comprehensive collection of hadith that addresses virtually every aspect of Islamic belief, jurisprudence (fiqh), and moral virtues. It is widely taught to students of Hadith across the world, especially in the madrasahs of the Indian subcontinent, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In many traditional curricula, Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ serves as an essential preparatory text studied before progressing to al-Kutub al-Sittah (the Six Canonical Books of Hadith).
