This work is a detailed explanatory commentary on a foundational primer in the science of hadith terminology, authored by the celebrated Indian hadith scholar and muḥaddith, Imam ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq al-Dihlawī, which is part of his commentary on Mishkāt al-Maṣābīh - Lamaʿāt al-Tanqīḥ.
