Al Wajiz fi Shay min Mustalah al Hadith

الوجيز في شيء من مصطلح الحديث الشريف by Shaykh Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Mālik is a concise yet valuable work introducing the essential terminology and principles of ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth. Rather than serving as a broad theoretical survey, the book focuses on key concepts that students need to understand when engaging with the science of Ḥadīth, its classification, transmission, and critical terminology.

Published originally by Dār al-Rayyāḥīn in 2022 and extending to 311 pages, it forms part of Shaykh Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Mālik’s wider contribution to the study and teaching of Ḥadīth. His works in this field are well known and circulated among scholars and students of knowledge in the Islamic world.

A useful and accessible text for students who want to establish a sound grounding in the terminology and methodology of the scholars of Ḥadīth before progressing to more advanced works in the field.
