Shaykh Abul Hasan ‘Ali Nadwi developed this collection because the Arabic textbooks available for teaching advanced learners were largely secular. He felt it was necessary to produce books that would not only build language skills but also convey essential Islamic teachings. These works are now widely used in many Dārul-‘Ulūms in India and Pakistan, as well as in numerous universities across the Arab world.

Qirāʾat al-Rāshidah, the original Arabic text, addresses a broad range of Islamic themes, including etiquette (ādāb), notable personalities, and other important topics. Those who can read Arabic may benefit further by enlarging the pages and studying the text closely.
