Fiqh ahl al Iraq wa Hadithuhum

Fiqh Ahl al-ʿIrāq wa Ḥadīthuhum by the eminent scholar and Ḥanafī authority, ʿAllāmah Muḥammad Zāhid al-Kawtharī (d. 1371 AH), is a valuable defence and exposition of the fiqh and ḥadīth tradition of the scholars of Iraq, particularly the Ḥanafī school. Originally written as an introduction to al-Zaylaʿī’s Naṣb al-Rāyah, it examines the scholarly legacy of the Iraqi fuqahāʾ and their engagement with ḥadīth.
